Growth on chickens eyelid?

We got this 12 week old 3/4 leghorn 1/4 australorp 5 days ago and have noticed a growth on her eyelid. Anyone know what it is or what we need to do about it?

I don't know what it is, but they can get something like a human stye, just a sort of abscess. You could try some ophthalmic ointment (available at feed stores), maybe after some warm compresses. You can also use plain Neosporin Ointment (I'd use the brand) on eyes.

Don't know but it actually fell off and cleared up without me needed to do anything at all. Good luck!
