First time having Golden Laced Wyandotte. Got the baby chick and week 2.5 now, it came in similar size as the Barred Rock friend, but now it is only half the size of the Barred Rock, she finally weighed 51 g today and the Barred Rock weights 80 g. She is happy and active, eats and normal poop.
I have checked with the farm where they came from and it is not a bantam. Anyone have similar experience that Wyandotte gain weight slower than others? If so do they catch up later? Anything we can do to help her? Thanks!
