I am in my second year - the first year I thought it was hell but continued as the end seemed to even out.... now, in my second year (and mine are teens) it was THE best thing I ever did.
Email me [email protected] as I bet I could help you around some rough spots.
I have one child twice exceptional and one who is high-achieving. The twice ex is the reason I "have" to homeschool as he has an LD but is also PROFOUNDLY gifted - doesn't fit in any squares being him a circle. The high achieving daughter is more interested because she saw how much was accomplished through the day.
I was a legal advocate for education and I have a book just out on methodology for teaching youth and parent advocacy help. So, I've been working in this a bit... I may be able to help you...
I will say homeschooling one is harder than two because two keep each other company.
Can you tell me the name of the incubator you are speaking of? I'd love to get something at this point -
Thanks!
Michele
