Grrrr... Our furnace is out.. No A/C!

It seems like everyone's having this problem with furnaces. Mine went out a few days back but luckily it was just a wiring problem and didn't require a furnace blower motor repair. Hope you got it fixed now.

Always someone around to pee in the Cheerios,

but ours did that. It was the fan motor. We went ahead and replaced our unit, it was 15 plus years old. $2600.00

Hi! Our quit blowing cold air earlier today. Thankfully, I knew to take the covers off outside and check --- sure enough the condenser (condenser?) was iced up. I think it's because I forgot to change the filter last week (we have a dusty, hairy house). I melted the ice with the waterhose and all is well.

Is the outside unit clean? Spray it inside & out w the garden hose​

we haven't used AC in years.. and I'm in Texas .. so we know what hot is..

If the inside unit ever shows ice on it you can turn off the cool & just put it on fan. The fan will help it thaw out pretty fast. The. You should be good. Around here the inside will freeze I the humidity is too high.
