To me it just looks like a malformed pellet (I spent many a day catching grasshoppers as a kid and I can say that doesn't look like anything from any grasshopper i've seen). Pretty much anything can have bacteria or viruses (and grasshoppers can carry tapeworm). In any case I don't think it's anything to worry about bug or not. They very likely eat a lot of bugs just hanging around outside when you're not looking. A single random fly or grasshopper that gets into a bag of chicken feed is of little concern
It's definitely not a pellet. It has structure, eyes, defining lines, etc. It looks grasshopper to me. See the comparison
