Grubs... eew... Chicken safe?

Im kind of, in a morbid sort of way, looking forward to some tomato horn worms this year. Those nasty little buggars creep me out. I have to send my 13 yo boy out to pick them off the plants because I can't bear to touch them. Now I know how to get rid of them but good!

Boy wonder will still have to pick them off though *heeebiejeeebies*

Good point! My bad! I should have been more specific!

I should have said all grubs from my yard are ok, since I don't treat my yard with chemicals. Worms including grubs, insects, snakes, frogs and lord knows what else is out there is also included in the list of edible things. (At least here in Virginia) I don't know about critters in other parts of the world.

Just keep your fingers out of the way between the grubs and the chickens!!!! That's the only real danger.

I'm sitting here wishing I was somewhere my chickens could find grubs right now, instead of praying for temps in at least the 20's tomorrow

As everyone has already said, Grubs = chicken heaven

They will cherish you forever if you give them grubs
