::grumble::

Yeah I've seen that too. But once you've been around for a year or two, you see the same questions 50 times a week. I just ignore them

because there are about 500000 posts saying 4sq foot in the coop, 10 sq foot in the run. Plus, just remember. Behind every username is a real person, real people can have impatience and attitude. It's just part of having so many members I think. (Did you get your wyandottes yet?)

Thank you. I am sorry for clogging up the forum with my complaining. It was just a moment of venting heh. I am still fairly new to BYC so I still have the gas to keep answering the same questions over and over. Though I am sure at some point I will get burnt out and skip over them.

I have not gotten them yet. I should be going later this afternoon to pick them up! I am so excited, and really had no idea one was a Blue Wyandotte and not a Blue Laced lol. I mean they are hatchery birds, so nothing real.. Special. They are special to me

but probably bad lacing and bad color and bad body shape lol. Ah well I love the badness of it all. Bring on the UNstandards! haha

I am getting nervous though. I have to keep these four girls in my house until I get my new coop and I hope they do O.K. for one night in a brooder tub. They are 10 weeks old so don't need a heat light anymore, but I have to wait until I get my new and improved coop to move them outside. Hopefully this weekend

My current two girls who are 12 weeks old have no idea that today they become BIG SISTERS lol!!!

We just got two girls from a byc member this week. A Lakevelder and an Blue Andalusian. They are a little skiddish, but cute. I can't wait to see them

I'm on "vacation" right now.

by the way. I've been around for a litttttle while and have had my butt stomped, threatened to be banned and all that. You eventually find you niche.

lol! Awesome

I am not familiar with either of those breeds. Now that I know how to use the search I will read up on them! Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for setting me straight

I will be giving 1 of my Blue Wyandottes and 1 of the BLRW to a BYC member friend of mine, glad to know that is not abnormal! lol!

Sorry you're feeling some negativity floating around. It's always hard for someone being the "new kid on the block", but there are ways around it. I found them because I am new to using forums and I made it a habit to read the whole screen page before acting an anything.

A lot of new people don't realize how much info is already available just by using the Search feature, the Learning Center and the FAQs. It's frustrating to answer the same question hundreds of times, so I usually try to steer people to those resources. Usually I get a thank you PM, that they hadn't seen all that stuff!

And yes, if you see a real problem, use the Report button.
