Grumpy neighbor, advice welcome.

I would say you were taking advantage of her being new, trying to be polite, and accepting your point of view. Now if her dog squeezes through the fence to harass your ducks on your property - this would be the ground to find mutual compromise or state that you very much don't like it either

Honestly, my best option would be moving 😅
Because I’ve been living with close neighbors, and after some years my partner and I decided to move and now we live in the countryside away from civilization. The closest neighbors are 400m from our home, which we find perfect. I get it’s not the preferred solution, people usually like to live in neighborhoods. But I just give my point of view because even being a bit radical, it’s what worked for me and now I can have the animals I want and the trees I want, and do what I want basically.

She should tie him out and not allow him to run.
She was trying to get you to keep your flock on you property. She was trying to be very nice about. You,I guess didn't pick up on it. Water under the bridge, just do your best and please ask her to do her best. Nip it all now so stress isn't looming everyday. And both of you can be "cool neighbors "

That’s the tree. You can see why the love it. You can’t tell now but it still produces apples for us. Otherwise we would have cut it out.
Could you add another section of fencing?

I clip my female muscovy wing every year after fall molt is done [just one wing] been doing it for all my Muscovy since 2004. We don't have close neighbors but a lot of predators I don't want them flying out of the fenced property. Remove the tree branch and give them stumps to perch on my Muscovy love stumps.

We have stumps in the back they love too. I know it doesn’t hurt them. They love to perch on the barn and land on the deck railing and peer in the windows is the house. I enjoy watching them. But all that can wait. We just need to keep them over here.
