Guess my breed!

This is my 8 week old cockerel. I think he's beautiful but he looks (in my opinion and from other pictures that I have seen) nothing like the breed he is supposed to be. Would anyone who is more experienced like to take a guess for me

Where did you get him? I would say wheaten marans but the leg color is wrong.

I got him from a local feed store here in SoCal. I do not know the breeder they got him from. My 3 pullets which I got at the same time all look very similar and true to breed. From the pictures I've seen the cockerels should be similarly colored.

What breed did the feed store say he was? Can you post photos of the pullets?

They said he was a New Hampshire Red. I can post pics in a few minutes. I'm thinking maybe he could be a mixed breed?

He could be a hatchery hybrid.

I'm guessing he's a mix. He's very handsome though! I would like to see what he looks like when he's mature.
