Cross. You're actually pretty close.Purebred or cross? If it's purebred, I think it's a Buff Brahma (unless you found a Partridge Brahma or an even rarer color of Brahma.)

The sire was a buff brahma bantam.Maybe a cross with a Buff Brahma father and a Light Brahma mother? If so, it's probably a pullet.
I'm pretty sure I see a pea comb, and I certainly see feathered feet, which only leaves so many options. (Unless you've been crossing Cochins with Cornish, but I think the feet are too feathery for that cross.)
