Guess My Sex

Thanks, Kathy.
I'm definitely not giving them any more worms!
I hope I didn't already do some damage.

I didn't give them that many worms, but I'd really hate to cause them a problem.

Just thinking out loud here, but I don't think the disease is fully understood... The store that has all the leg problems feeds their chicks the same crumble, 26.5%, except I always get the freshest, whereas they might not and both sets get mealworms and/or crickets. Their chicks are raised indoors, practically in the dark, in an over crowded pen on cold cement. Their adults have never been wormed, never get any direct sunlight and don't get any special feed, so I wonder how all of that plays into the disease process? Is there a hereditary component? Are some chicks predisposed to it due to the parents being fed improperly?

Having seen one chick where both legs went 180, it scares me to death. Maybe, just maybe it could be corrected if noticed before the leg starts to turn, but I don't know. Again, just thinking out loud.
