well in hopes of confirming the sex of my birds, I was informed they are crosses. They were sold to me as chicks under a week old as Cream Legbars but I was told they are in fact not Cream Legbars but some kind of mix. If you have a guess on the mix I'd like to know, but id also like to know what makes people think they are a cross and not pure so that in learning about this breed I am educated and not just going off of what I was told.

Actually yes but the only thing holding me back on that is I thought rose combs would be dominant gene
that is what I was thinking but i contacted the person i get them from to let her know there is a pretty big issue lol and she says only thing possible is SLW and i sent a picture of the comb and asked if she was sure (lol) i hate getting into new breeds i should have just bought from GFF i guess.

Well, who told you what exactly?

They are mixed with a single combed breed. It’s really hard to know which one though.
Ummm.... CCL are single combed.
