That's a BLOODHOUND?!

Yup! Here's a headshot at rest:

Editing to add: Most pictures you see of Bloodhounds, they've got their heads down tracking, so all that loose skin is pooled up around their heads. When they've got their heads up or are running, the skin flows the other way - totally changes the look.

Yep! Good eye... he gets the build from the JRT & the color from the MinPin. Somebody in my area breeds the mix... I got him from the shelter, though. Great little dog but NOT a quiet house pet without lots of exercise.

Editing to add: two of the remaining three dogs we have are Basset Hounds - the one in the group picture is our matriarch, 12 years old.
