It's a super-rare breed in the US, so no wonder. Um... I don't know how to give any more hints without saying what it is.
It's an old breed, descendants from chickens the Vikings kept.

That's their close relative, the Icelandic Chicken. They come in many color varieties, whereas the breed I'm looking for only have two, a light and a dark color.

Oh, and here's a hint: their chicks are sex linked!
