Me neither!Oh, I'm not very good with breeds!
Yep!Is that what they are?
I wanna bet that because of the comb, it looks like a roo. But there is something in the face and feathering that shouts hen to me. Am I right???Okay, to start guess the gender of my bird:View attachment 2852827
That does sound about right. She definitely looks to have some leghorn in her.Yes, it is fine if you call me that! Okay, sorry @TheOddOneOut, can we just say she is a.... cross between a leghorn and a not leghorn?
IDK what this is about.@The Moonshiner is the biggest Leghorn expert I know of on this forum. He’s been breeding them for centuries. I think. How old are you again, Moony?
Anyways, he can tell us.
@Overo Mare, I’d love your take on this too. You’re more of an expert than me.
It’s either my Buckeye or my New Hampshire...I cant tell which is which! I was hoping someone on here could!
It looks like that in the pic but in real life they are the exact same shade and BOTH have a tiny bit of black at the end of their tail feathers! The New Hampshire had a lighter color head until about 2 weeks ago...I should’ve marked her when I saw it darkening but I didn’t think they would look this much the same!I meant to quote this above
