Nope, I only have pure Dark Cornish at the moment and I have some white leghorn crosses, but no brown leghorn.Does she have any dark Cornish?
I'm also going to guess that she has brown Leghorn in her somewhere.
I don't have any Wyandottes. But good job on noticing the comb.she looks like a wyandotte cross
I only have one hen who is half RIR, but that isn't her mother and no brown leghorns. Is she Rode Island Red and Brown Leghorn???? Seems like a wild guess but it's all i've got! lol
No white leghorn.@Redhead Rae Can you post a picture showing her tail positioning?
Is there any white leghorn in her? I'd imagine the father isn't pure white leghorn or she would be white.
Does the comb come from Dominique somewhere in the mix?
You get a black sex link by breeding a barred mother (usually a Plymouth Rock) to a solid colored male (usually a RIR). This chick's mother is barred from her Dominique father. In creating BSLs the males are born with a spot (indicating they will be barred) on their head and the females have no spot (indicating they will not be barred).Rhode rock/ black rocks I hear are black sex link but not sure how get them.
No Delaware. Is there any Delaware in her?
