Guess the mix!

I just got him this year, so he hasn't fathered any babies (yet) for me to know if his offspring will have any of his coloring. I'll know more next year. I call him Lil' Dude.

lol, the farm & ranch store gets a lot of mixed breeds. It's probably part of some special deal that Atwoods headquarters makes with Ideal Poultry. Some would lable him a "top-hat" I guess, but mostly that term is used for the crested breeds.

I just never heard of the Ideal "Mixed-Breed-You-Guess-Em Special", LOL. Other than the hybrid sexlinks, Ideal claims to sell pure breeds. That boy ain't one of 'em, pretty as he is.
See this boy? He's the Cochin/Silkie roo crossed with Barred Rock hen baby I was talking about and the brother to my Poufy-Head Sisters.

aww... he's a cutie! I love the poufy heads! What's he look like now-a-days?

Maybe one of their birds went a visiting with some other birds...

But the red walnut comb & wattles... Just strange.... He's not yet a year old, so when he goes through moult there's no telling what he'll look like in the end! lol

Wow! He's beautiful. Do you mind if I snag the picture to use in my art work?
Thanks
Jacie

I was gonna resize the pictures for an avatar but the asphalt & light background really washes out his coloring when sized down.

LOL, bet his looks a lot like mine is and is still a good-looking fellow. Thanks for sharing your picture!

I love your work. I admire from afar!

I dabble a bit with PSP8 but I haven't had the time to sit down and work on anything of late.
