Guess the number of kittens, double trouble!

first good picture I got while Amber was eating, she's settled into indoor life nicely, but I'll probably put these guys and their momma back outside once they are 5 or 6 weeks old so they can start learning to live up to their mothers impressive hunting quota.

I haven't seen Ambers sister Bella lately either, so I'm thinking she might have had her kittens as well, luckily the weather is starting to turn here, only at night does it still get chilly

This IS heartbreaking to me. I am self sustaining also but only obtain good mousers from feral groups and all are already altered. Its hard to see the cuteness when I have seen the heartache.I pray you can get some better animal husbandry skills.

That's your opinion, my cats are all vaccinated and kept on regular worming meds. I preferr cats I can get near, currently I have 18 cats, I can handle all but two of them.

I've had this same line of cats for the last ten years, I've known these kittens mother, their grandmother, great grandmother ect. since they were ALL kittens.

As I've said before, all of these kittens are spoken for, they'll be free as I am not selling them.

if I were selling them then you'd have the right to complain, but you do not.

I trust the kittens will be given away with a full vet check-up; shots appropriate for their age; prepaid spay/neuter contracts? If not, then there's plenty to comment on with respect to the continuation of the cycle of adding to an ever burgeoning cat "overpopulation." Given this, it is virtually impossible for me, or anyone else to venture a "guess" as to the the number of kittens your cats would have...as well as your cat's kittens would have; or the kitten's kittens would have, and so on and so forth.

Just a quick update:

the first cat Ambers kittens are 15 days old, their eyes have opened and they are learning to walk, they are still inside.

the other cat Bella came around for food for the first time in two days, she is slim so she's had her kittens somewhere, luckily the weather has turned and it has been warm both day and night for the last week. the search for Bellas kittens has begun in ernest. As I speak my niece and Nephews are out on a kitten hunt lol.

Found Bellas litter yesterday afternoon while the kids in the family were down for the egg hunt.

One of them came running with a fat ball of squealing black fluff in her basket and I asked her where she found it.

ALL the way down by the pond at the other end of the property in the old duck shed were the kittens, 6 of them. 3 black, 2 orange tabbies and 1 gray one.

5 of them are fat little balls and one is a little runty but all of them look good so far, Miss Bella was none too pleased to come back and find that her kids had been disturbed, so I have a feeling she might move them.

Cute kittens!
