Guess their sex!

the light tan one is a buff brahma pullet.
The white one looks like a Easter Egger cockerel to me. Most black and white EEs are automatically roosters. Its very rare to get a white and black easter egger pullet. I'll bet you the white one turns out to be a cockerel.. Had one that looked just like that that turned out to be a lil' roo.

Oh no! This is everyones favorite bird! He/she acts like a cockerel, bosses everyone around. My son will be devastated. We will have to refine him along with the grey Silkie who I believe tried to crow a few times. Suburban secret coop... can’t keep roosters. I’m so sad. I hope you are wrong. He was supposed to be a Speckled Sussex hen! Boy did they get it wrong at the feed store... told us he was a Speckled Sussex female! Thanks for the info though.

I had 2 black and white EE hens, Lady & Olive. Such sweet girls! Olive laid small sage green eggs, and Lady's eggs are a beautiful green/blue color. Unfortunately Olive was carried away by a fox last week. :( Lady has been so sad & hasn't laid an egg since. :hit Mine have/had a little more black than yours is showing. I was going to post a pic, but my phone isn't cooperating. I hope yours is a pullet so you can continue your secret-flock keeping!!

Oh I hope Francesca will stay Francesca too! You give me a bit of hope! I guess it’s a wait and see game.

I'm sorry but I would say cockerel on both

The B/W because the comb is changing color already and it has a patchwork look to the patterning. The buff just has that wiiiiide, defined rows pea comb that's so commonly seen on cockerels this age. I hope that I'm wrong but pretty sure I'm not.

Was the 90% accuracy claim backed by any sort of guarantee?

No guarantee unfortunately. The Brahma had the two rows of feathers when she was little and she acts like a hen. She’s sort of a mother to the Silkies I gat are only a week younger than her. She lets them snuggle up to her.
