Hey! It's been a while!
I figured I'd update y'all on how my flock is going, so far so good! (Though we lost 3 over the past couple of weeks to a raccoon. . . that's no longer an issue though haha)

So I was wanting to ask if y'all had any idea what breed my rooster, Omellete, is! I know for a fact he's half lavender Orpington (since that's the other rooster we have) but I have little to no clue as to who his mother is so I've had this question on my mind for quite some time!

Who are the possible moms? What color is his shanks and skin color?

Definitely cannot be any barred hens.

I'm not entirely sure as the flock he came from is not one that I myself purchased or raised, but I know there are some Rhode Island Reds, an Amberlink, a Speckled Sussex, and some of these guys (I'm not entirely sure if they're Black Sexlinks or some other breed of chicken) Theres also a picture of pretty much the entire flock from a while ago.

I'm not quite certain what shanks are honestly, that's a term I have yet to become familiar with

Skin color is the color of the sole of the foot. Shank color is basically the rest.

The black ones with red in their breasts & necks look like Black Sexlinks to me.

With the rooster's father being a Lavender Orpington, I think the mother would have some amount of red on her. So of the ones you listed, he might come from a Rhode Island Red, a Speckled Sussex, or a Black Sexlink.

Skin color is the color of the sole of the foot. Shank color is basically the rest.

Ahhh gotcha, well his sole is bright yellow whilst the rest of his legs are a mix of yellow, blue, and dark brown.
And this is how he looked right after he hatched if that's of any help!
