can i join the group?? My 6 month old white silkies just laid an egg yesterday. I got 3 hens and 1 rooster. now i got to get them to go broody. Next challenge!

I have one white Silkie from Ahappychick, too, but she is only about 4-months-old. I named her "Pearl." "Favor," my blue Silkie, gave me about 10 eggs in November (which weren't fertile yet), and then she started a bad molt. She is beginning to look beautiful again, so I hope she starts laying soon. Her eggs are all going in my bator for a while!

I was up at 5am waiting for the PO to call me and they called at 6am. They told me to come in the back and I went down right away and got them. My DH said he only wants silkies now.

BTW, my 2 silkie eggs in the bator are fertile.
