We are still waiting on our 20 week girl to give us the first egg. I started thinking the shorter days were going to make us wait all winter. Glad to hear that you got a first egg up in VT.

It seems like it was never gonna happen. I turned the light on two nights ago . Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not but I finally got an egg!! Thanks all
 
well last night was a few extra hours. tonight i think all night cause the dorks didnt know enough to get out of the rain so they were soaked. I figured i would be nice and keep them warmer tonight.

Grats!! Our Ameracauna bantam is 32 weeks and no eggs...lol. Its nice to see someones chickens do actaully lay. We have higher hopes for our Australorps and Brs.
