Guess what kind of Bantams I got! (PICS ADDED)

The guy I'm dating that works there is going to save me a few red bantams as he put it so after work I'm making a beeline for the Local mom and pop feed store Dillon is so sweet

apparentally they're going really fast so he doesn't have to but he is saving them probably two for me! Yay!

Okay so I just got home a few minutes ago and after adjusting their heat and trying to get them to eat and drink out of their rabbit feeder I took Pictures! Here they are attacking their grit at 3 days old

Sorry I can't seem to get the pictures to turn vertical they are fine till they get to BYC anyone have advice?

Oh my gosh they are adoreable! What do you have in that mix??? If you can rotate the picture before you upload it then it will be right side up. Not sure what picture program you have to tell you where the rotate picture function is but....try searching and then it's pretty easy once you find it.

Gosh is there anything cuter then new chicks?

I know right! they look like little chipmunks! and it was right side up before I uploaded it so I'm confused now...

I have now clue what they are if anyone wants to guess that's my best guess the feed store said they were red bantams Lol!

Haha! yeah my photos were being stinkers yesterday I'll try again later today... and I wasn't going to get them until next week but when the guy I'm dating at the feed store said they got someone else's shipment yesterday and Banty's were included I was all over it because I regretted not ordering some Banty's with my order so I got four and am hoping that there are a few girls to keep then I have my Standards coming in next week. it's actually pretty good because it gives the banty's a week to grow

He called them red banty's so I have NO CLUE what breed they are Lol!

1. But the biggest striped one is the leader she just discovered the water and then they all joined in I was worried about that but I just kept tapping all their little heads in the bowl and finally the leader caught on feather brains!

2. The heat lamp is at 90 degrees when they all are off the thermometer (they like to play Queen of the rock on it alot) and they venture out to get food and water but still come back to the heat to sleep (they sleep together but not piled on top of each other...) is the temperature okay?

I was going to say they look like EE's, but unless I know what I hatched out, I'm not very good at telling what breed chicks are (unless it's totally obvious like a polish or silkie

). I have had that same problem with some of my pictures! Typically they are correct, but every now and then I have a rogue picture that just will not stay right side up when I download it onto BYC... Have no idea why this happens, it just does
