For every flaw we have been bestowed, we have been blessesd with many virtues. I sometimes say that I pay dearly for the gifts I have recieved.
In time, you will find that incredible store of virtues that make you the unique person you are. Some are physical, some are emotional. You are stronger than you realize.
I had to reach the age of 50 before I realized some of my genetic codes. I have high blood sugar (diabetic), attention-deficit, no fine motor skills (I write like I never passed kindergarten - and I am an artist in my heart - so NOT fair), my feet are deformed, I am freakishly tall, I have had severe acne for 40 years!
I am compensated for this collection of flaws by being graced with great running speed and the ability to jump high and far. I enjoyed a state win in track and field as a sophmore in high school, went on to an athletic scholarship at the university.... My list of athletic honors are extensive. I also tried a new field in school called computer science.
Instead of focusing on what I can't do, I focused on what I can do well. At age 50, I have fulfilled all my dreams. I have even written a couple of novels. You will find your path to happiness. Rejoice that you are beginning to understand all that makes you unique at such a young age. I had to discover everything the hard way!
