I was pulling up pumpkin plants. We grow cinnamon girls, and we’ve just got one little one left to ripen.

I was pulling up pumpkin plants. We grow cinnamon girls, and we’ve just got one little one left to ripen.

I saved seeds from a Cinnamon Girl and accidentally planted them in a pot with watermelon seeds. They took over that spot in the garden. There are now around 30 pumpkins in a 10' square area. Some of them are cute little round, knobby ones and some are a little more oval and smooth.

It’s not supposed to freeze here till middle of October or so, and we’ve still got some melons, beans, potatoes, and peppers. And tomatoes, of course. We got the most tomatoes ever this year.
