The spalding will be harder to tell but the IB is a hen.

You definitely have 1 female the other could be aswell, I need pics of the back to be able to tell for the other one.

No it's not a dumb question, the lighter 1 is indian blue. The darker 1 is a spalding.

Going off the little bit of searching I did online, I was mainly just looking at wing barring, based off that I was thinking both female. Would the markers be different for a spalding?

Both look to be hens. The darker Spalding is not easy to see so post another pic in better lighting and I will confirm. Top of the back and the breast.

Yep, hen. She is showing a lot of Green blood. I would call her High Percentage.
