Thank you so much!! For a moment there I was starting to think they were frogs-the spring peeper varieties.

lol. This was the only chick in the whole group at the feed store that had the dark spot on her head like that and her feathers are coming in wonderfully patterned. I just can’t seem to find any breeds that look even a little like her. Guess she must be one of those hatchery breeds without feather pattern standards.

Its a bit too early to tell. Is it bigger than the other chicks? It looks big in the pic

So adorable. I’m very new to chickens but she looks just like my Rhode Island Red babies. Even the little spots on the head. Well mine were sold as those anyway. This is mine at 3 weeks old but they looked like yours at one week. Not sure.
