Guessing @ Silkies!!!

I know silkies are hard to sex but does anyone want/like guessing?? =)
Buckbeak!! He is obviously a roo he started making a little crow noise about a week ago and his wattles have doubled in size in just a few days

My little black ones are the most passive and sweetest of my silkies

My white Silkies have corn juice on their crests but Luna's is alot more fluffy and in her eyes normally with Hedwig's being more pulled back looking

Partridge babies that I'm not sure. Buckbeak and Rosey have black in their tail and the ends of their wings (you cant see that very well in pics
) so I was told they are partridge.

Isn't this partridge so pretty! If this one is a roo I will be keeping ( only can keep one =(

Silkies are just difficult, period. A lot of your pictures seem to show large combs. I think Rosey and Dobey have the smallest combs, so look most like pullets right now. That's my guess. And I agree about the others-- my guess is cockerel for kaboomkin, Hedwig and Buckbeak. Luna and Sirius are kind of in between. Hopefully they will turn out to be pullets.

Yeah hedwig and kaboomkin will chest bump buckbeak too which makes me think Roos

Yeah Hedwig and Kaboomkin will also chest bump and fight with buckbeak because buckbeak thinks he’s the stuff with his new wattles and crow lol! Hopefully those are the only boys I have

Update us again in about a month or two for better attempts. I've always heard Silkies are incredibly hard to gender, and it's easy to see why. However, they are all adorable and I hope you are enjoying the little cuties!!

Thank you! I am enjoying them and find it fun to guess what their gender is. My husband is getting annoyed with me changing my mind every other day lol! I am noticing some small wattles coming in on Sirius today. Its amazing how they change just day by day. and how they develop so differently. Like buckbeak already making small crowing noises and his wattles and comb are so noticeable while everyone else is still peeping!

Okay - My guess would be two boys, two girls and thee undecided. Kaboomkin (LOVE the name, is there a story?) and Buckbeak look like boys. Rosey and Dobby look like pullets. The rest, well I'd hold out for a couple more weeks before making a decision there. Hedwig looks boy-ish, but Luna could go that way as well (although it may be the goodies on their crests that make the combs look bigger.) The black Silkies are tougher, simply because of the dark coloring, but I'd hold out on Sirius, too.
Regardless, they are all pretty babies!

My husband named kaboomkin. Do you know world of Warcraft. Well if so there is a class Druid that has a spec boomkin. He named his Druid Kaboomkin Bc he kabooms people we’re nerds lol as you can tell most the others are from Harry Potter. I have two other EE’s named ravenclaw and hufflepuff the other names well came from my kiddos

Pullets get wattles but way later.
They come in closer to point of lay (POL) and cockerels get them early.
