I bought some keets last spring, they laid eggs in Sept, and haven't laid since. I just read that they are seasonal layers. Is this true? I've been waiting for them to lay, but haven't seen anything since that Sept.-Nov. time span.

Is there a easy way to tell the difference between the sexes? I know the sounds are different, but what about a visual difference. Some of the "females" have tall helmets, so I'm not sure which ones are the males and females.

i have a hard time too with the sounds because their all yacking at the same time. the males helmet is bigger, thicker and his wattles turn up and are bigger too. the females wattles just go straight down. but this is when they are grown.
