Zaz... Any good hints for peeling those dang eggs and not ending up with something that looks like a beat to hell pinata? LOL
Add salt to the boiling water for any fresh eggs to make them easy to peel. I threw some guinea eggs in with a bunch of chicken eggs the other day and added a tablespoon or so of salt and they all peeled fine
Wow! I'm new to guineas. I caught 3 last week that were being attacked by dogs (one at a time throughout the day), can't find the owners, and apparently am the new owner of 3 guineas in my pen. And long story short, I just adopted 7 more from a friend. (And the original 3 were so quiet.... sigh)
In my brief ownership & resulting research on these birds, I've been told several times that Asian restaurants find the eggs & the meat as a delicacy. It might be worth a try to contact a local Asian restaurant to see if they would be interested in your egg supply. Might pay your feed bill
