Guinea eggs under a broody American Game Hen---ONE Hatched! Pic on pg2

He just assumes that there is no rooster, so no babies....I have about 2 more weeks to figure out how to break the guinea news to him...LOL It is easier to get forgiveness than permission!

I also have a broody hen setting on 12 guinea eggs! All of the eggs are Lavender/Pied though!

Thanks! We are thrilled! Thank you for identifying the pearl too. I got them from Southern Farm Hatchery in Mississippi and wasn't told exactly what I was getting. Can anyone identify the other two?

This is the proud mama... I just can't bring myself to take the keets from her. She is so happy being a mom. She wants to peck me every time I put my hand in there, so holding them is problematic too.

Ohhhhhh there is nothing cuter than a guinea keet! Congrats on the new babies.....
