Since bantam eggs very so much in size, I would say they are closer to a pheasant egg.

The fake egg idea is a very good one.

Where are you? maybe someone close to ya would have a egg to give ya for a model.

I forgot to say that a guinea egg is tear drop shaped, pinty end down, fat end is top.

I'll look and see if I can find some pics in my egg pics and send ya so you can see what I mean.

agen thank you for your reply i deffinitly will get some ceramice phesent eggs that look like guinea!!!!!

No mine are not laying yet. I should have some blowed out giunea eggs somewhere and/or some pics somewhere.

I just took some pics, I will down load them this evening. I need to get the feeding going and then start on supper.

I agree, they are probably close to the size of a pheasant egg, though tend to be a little larger.

But honestly, a fake egg probably won't work. They just kind of drop them when they start laying then they find the biggest, nastiest, briar patch to hide their nests in

Now the question of 'what size bantam egg is that?' arises. I have some bantams that lay eggs about the same size as my pigeons then I've got some that are just a little smaller than my LF.
