Is it possible to tame them?

When it comes to food ...sort of...you get them to come into the pen or coop with food in the evening. Never feed them during the day only in the evening. They will associate you voice with food. They will NEVER be your best friend!

Okay. I was sorta hoping they would lay in the nest boxes... I guess guineas do what they want when they want! Looks like I'll have to search the fields for my eggs, now!

Just watch out for a male stood ominously by a bush,pile of twigs etc. The hens will be somewhere near

Mine follow me around whenever I have food. The second I decide to follow them around they have me. They are definitely not tame but equally they are not scared.

Yep! The hen can even make her sound(bucks-wheat) when she is through laying!

That's good to know! I just wanted to find the eggs so I could hatch them!

I've seen mine mating and is I said earlier in the thread I've had one egg, but that was 2 weeks ago and had none since then.

I've got 2 eggs in the last week! It's still kind of early! It's Mid-winter here!
