I have a guinea who has been sitting on a nest for 4 weeks that we know of. I don't know long she was sitting before we found her. Should we just let her be or try to get her to move? It looks as if there may be approx. 12 eggs under her. Thanks.

Chances are she laid a few more eggs after she went broody. Or another hen may have added some. But if she doesn't leave the nest for another few days or a week I would chase her off the nest and candle the eggs. :old

I don’t let our hens sit on outdoor nests as there is such a high risk they will be taken by a predator before they can hatch the keets.
