Ok guys so I just have to ask. I have 1 year old guinea fowl that I have been raising since they were 2 day old keets. They are super healthy and everything seems great, I have a large 6.5 acre property that they free range on. This spring I started to notice that from time to time they are taking monster sized poops. Like only slightly smaller than my 85lb bulldogs poops lol. Is this normal? It’s not every poop, most are normal size. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The poops are solid and healthy looking with no signs of worms or anything like that. I’ve been raising chickens for many years and this is my first guinea flock so I’ve never seen anything like this.

Those sound like broody poops where a broody hen only relieves herself once a day instead of constantly all day long. I have broody turkeys here and yes they leave monstrous droppings.

Thank you so much! That makes a ton of sense, I have two broody girls sitting on eggs. My chickens are all female I don’t have any roosters and don’t let them sit on eggs so I’ve never experienced this before.
