Guinea problem

My guineas are my favorite. I have 10 now. I started with four mainly because guineas are hard to come by where I live. I could have sworn my first four were 3 boys and 1 girl judging by their wattles. I was very wrong. I actually had 2 females and 2 males. I only realised it after she recently started laying eggs. Sometimes her male would chase her all around the yard, like you said. She would eventually perch up into a pine tree to get away from him. Now that she has started laying she doesn't run from him anymore. They just strut around the yard together. It was very interesting watching them all pair up. Luckily I was finally able to find some more so now I have 6 females and 4 males. Mine are free range for the most part, at night the guineas go to roost with the chickens. I have never seen my guineas bully my chickens even when they were confined together after I first got them. Could be because the chickens were there first, I am no chicken or guinea expert. Now they all mostly free range. I plan on eventually expanding to at least 5 to 10 more for breeding purposes.
