Guinea Sounds

Thanks again CCG. We'll get there after we hatch and raise, oh, about 5,000 keets and guineas over how many years?

Many folks would hope to live that long, but (and, I'm sure I'll change my mind if I make it that far) I don't wanna have to run all new fences on this farm again ... hand-splittin' black locust ain't the easiest work ~'-)

Thank you for putting this video up !
Sure looks and sounds like a typical Guinea group.
I have to agree with the one person that young Guinea hens
LOVE to try out their new found b*tt crack call and most of
them take a bit to get this down to perfection.
It seems they just start yappin away until they get it right and
then of course look out !!

The part I'm findin' most fun is when they try, but just can't quite mimic those that have already found their voices far too well ... the squeaky 'b..bbut..cr..rr' followed by an almost apologetic trill. But, indeed, I need to find my headphones, 'cause they're all gettin' pretty loud ~'-)
