Something I noticed about guineas over past 20 years is they almost never get killed by predators. I have lost the odd chicken here and there at night, and even lost female ducks at night. Never guineas though. Even if they slept outsside of their coop. I realize they come from africa in areas swamped by the most predators on earth. But what about them makes them so much harder to kill than game chickens even? My cat caught a weasel the other day and i caught them attacking it.

I think they are just really good at evading predators. I used to have guineas that roosted in trees, and very occasionally we'd lose one to a predator at night. The survivors would then move to a new tree. We never lost 2 in a row.
