Guineas are picking on my laying hens.

Hello. I can totally understand your frustration. However, it is the male guinea that is doing the bad things. I had guineas with my chickens and the males are very dominant and will destroy the chickens. I had to seperate them, but I didn't want to get rid of them because I love the guinea eggs.

Guineas will play follow the leader. Once they decide to single out another target they will do so like a rogue gang and often won't stop until the target is dead. They they will eat it.

I would keep the chickens locked away from the guineas.

My guineas free range and forage and have no contact with my chickens. At times they will try to bully the turkeys but that usually doesn't end well for the guineas - who can fight like a wild tiger when they want.
