Guineas fighting

guinea fighting around this time of year is completly normal. in the spring they will do it even more. there trying im impress the female. i have 3 males and 1 female and so far i havent seen anything yet but i know its gonna happen here in the next few months. when i had a few guineas, and they were all males, they all ganged up on the chickens. they attakced and almost killed some of my roosters and little chickens. i got rid of most of them and just kept two and that seemed to help. they just keep to themselves now and hang out with the female, but in the spring i know mine will be chassing eachother and fighting with eachother.

I went and looked in my barn, and sure enough, found a small hole (tennis ball size or a little bigger) going into the barn...I've never seen weasles, but I guess it could be possible...great. Traps now for sure!

Yes, it could be hiding in the barn. I can't remember where I read this but just recently someone had something kill a bunch of her birds. She started moving things around looking for a possible access hole when up pops a weasel head. When they've got an easy meal they will make themselves comfortable until they are either trapped or run out of food.

Great...

You might be able to get one of those traps in your local trading post or on craigslist for pretty cheap. I just saw one listed for $5 on CL....they're $40 new!
