Ok, they are pretty pricey though so unless you are needing to dial elevation for far targets they aren't really needed, but so far they are the best long range scope you can get.

also maybe if am lucky a black bear will show its self and i can harvest one of them (are seasons over lap.)

Scopes are great for accuracy, no doubt, but I've always found that a couple of hunting binos can be a game changer. If you could get your hands on some of the best models, spotting games gets super easy. I mean, the combo should work better.

We have about 1 more month until gun season comes in for whitetailed deer. Looking forward to harvesting a few this year.

Definitely consider myself a gun enthusiast. Started with a few rifles and shotguns for hunting mostly but got to where I shoot more now just for fun and training.

Bought an AR ten years ago for hunting hogs and now have a couple in different calibers. Had recently enjoyed shooting pistols a lot more after stocking up on a bunch of cheap ammo but I don't shoot near as much right now to preserve the stash, lol.

All my guns are newer but I think collecting older guns and military surplus is pretty cool.

Been out several times with my bow for deer. Missed a nice 8pt. Rut is starting and they are chasing the does all over.

no did not get or really see any elk this year,

for my zone am hunting whitetail opens Nov 1st

also picked up a mosin-nagant which completes my Russian gun collection of rifles (main ones)
but got the Berdan, mosin and sks (no aks allowed in Canada)

It is opening day of gun season here in AL and I decided to try hunting with my revolver this morning. I woke up a little later than I planned but I was able to get setup in my ground blind about 15 minutes before legal light. About an hour later I had a doe come out and she stood broadside 27 yards. I shot her square in the shoulder with a handloaded 240gr XTP bullet. She took off running into a pine thicket and I heard her crash shortly after.

I waited about 30 minutes then slowly followed the very good blood trail through a narrow trail into the thicket. She ended up running 90yds and expired right in the middle of a fire break at the edge of the thicket. This is my first handgun kill so I was pretty excited. Can't wait to get a few more and make some sausage....
