I'm up in north La,we've expecting tropical storm force winds here & flooding rain. We're on a high spot we should be alright.I worry about the chickens & the coop holding up. We will more than likely lose power here.So might not be on here for awhile.
I have some family in St Landry Parish, hoping & praying they will be safe.Haven't heard from my sister in Baton Rouge, she might come up.
We went to town last night & there were tons of folks from south La still heading north.They started contra flow early this morning.
I hope everyone down south & their pets will come out of this okay.

Thanks for all the prayers! We are going to need them.
We are just finishing up our preparations…I guess we are as ready as we can be.

If you would say an extra prayer for the safety of my husband and son both are police officers. They will be out and about in all of it but the Chief will make them stay put for the worst of it. My son just graduated from the police academy on Friday. His first day at work will be 6am Monday.
