I didn't go to be until almost 4am! Just can't get to sleep most nights.

Brunch--Tomato & Basil Friatta--recipe out of the Sonoma Diet Cookbook. Was pretty good actually. Eggs, spinach, green onions, garlic. Topped with a touch of cheese and tomotoes. Followed it with a glass of milk and an orange.

Dinner--Left over Sesame Chicken from dinner last night.

i think i had a biscotti at some point in the morning too. the little one woke me up from a deep sleep this am and i was in a bit of a daze for awhile.

coyote- the frittata sound yummy! and I'm sure once you able to start exercising again that will help you sleep.

Tomorrow we will be starting the new thread:

Gut Busters for the week of 1/11

B: pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes with butter & syrup
cup of coffee
Sn: 1 small peice of fudge
L: leftover homemade Baked chicken nuggets & sw. pot. fries (Baked too), water
D: tuna cakes, side salad (spinach, lettuce 2T ranch) raw peas, carrots, bell peppers. 2 pieces of toast with butter & homemade pumpkin butter, milk.

Hmm...I did pretty good today. I didn't have breakfast because I woke up too late.

Lunch: less than 1 cup of mashed taters and steamed veggies

Snack: 1 serving cottage cheese and a pickle

Dinner: One bowl of homemade cauliflower soup and an ice cream bar. Then my mom came into the computer room and gave me a cheese stick.

I felt guilty because last night I went to a party with my old ambulance squad and they had snacks and dessert. I was doing great eating just the cheese and then my old crew chief gave me a cookie and a slice of cheese cake. I didn't eat all of the cheese cake and I didn't have dinner that night, so I guess it wasn't too bad.

I did find out that pepperoni is a pretty terrible food so I am cutting that out of my diet. It's a shame because I LOVE pepperoni, and my family always has it around. Cheese is still high in fat, but not nearly as bad as pepperoni in moderation.

Well, I haven't been able to post anything here for a while. My husband was in the hospital for 4 days because his appendix ruptured. It was a close call and we are very lucky.

It's just as well that I haven't posted anything because I wasn't eating very well or exercising when he was in the hospital. I slept in the chair in his room and ate hospital food and fast food for the most part. I did make a very healthy dinner at his sister's house on Wednesday. Other than that, I wasn't very well behaved.

For tonight I made what the hubby requested, which was pizza. His other request was a banana cake. The cake is currently cooling on the counter waiting for the cream cheese frosting.

I plan to be getting back to work on this eating right and exercising. I'm still exhausted and it's only going to get worse because I have to make for the slack from my hubby being out of commission and catch up with 2 weeks of school work in three days. UGH
