Well the landlord owns the property and has a few units there all fenced in as one. He decide to construct another unit on the property only after I had started living there so... He didn't make me get rid of the chickens. He just lets my neighbor and I handle that. But I was talking to him and he made a point that I keep kinda forgetting. She's kind of loopy and off. Also to mention VERY lonely and is looking for ANYTHING to be her "Friend" whether it be a diseased possum/rat or a predatory hawk. I took care of the possum and she started complaining to the landlord that animals have a right to live. My defense was: MY chickens have the right to live too. She's a nice lady and what-not she's just a little off I guess. :l I guess there isn't any point in complaining or getting upset at her when you think of it like that idk. But I still think she's crazy for trying to get a hawk to land on her.If my neighbor was feeding my animals on my property without permission and would not stop when asked, I would have to call the police to have a chat with her. Now if my animals were roaming on her property, that's another story. Are your chickens penned in your property or are they roaming? Why does she have access? I live in the country surrounded by cattle fields and yes they're cute but I'd never feed them treats without permission. It could ruin their intended diets.
My chickens come running when they hear me come outside, but even faster when I shake the treats bag.
