Taube simply shook her head. "For some reason, I just remembered the blood. The green blood. Silently haunting my sleep. Like a moose eating walnuts, not completely there and scary."

"Walnuts? Okay, whatever. Green blood, thats really, really odd." She said before saying the Gryffindor password. "Anyways. Its almost June. I spoke to my parents, thats what the letter was for and.." Charlotte could barely talk because she was grinning so broadly. (Don't be alarmed when I don't reply quickly cause I have a paper I'm supposed to be writing at the same time

(okay.) "Yes. Walnuts. A moose eating walnuts is one of the scariest things to watch. It just stands there, calmly chewing away at it's walnuts, and the crunching! It just makes it even more scarier! And what were you saying about the letter?"

Taube's face darkened. "They're dead, remember?" (Yes, she has parents, no, they aren't living.

) "But, that would be great!!! It gets tiresome after a while of doing random people's work for them so you can survive. Plus, I'm always on the move. Never get to stop and stay a while. OH yeah, did you hear? The next Hogsmead trip is..." Taube dropped her voice, as several students were trying and failing to eavesdrop without being caught, "the next Hogsmead trip is tomorrow! They were going to try and surprise us, but, after a while on the streets you learn your way around the ins and outs of figuring things out for yourself. One of the perks of being orphaned!" Taube whispered, extremely excited.

"Cool! I am sooo excited. Oh, your going to love it at my place. The stables are wonderful, the lake is always warm enough to swim in (At least during the summer) and our mansion is full of really good books and hidden rooms and we have really sweet pets and, oh, your just going to love it!"

"I bet! It was enough for me to take refuge in a random place, I was actually going to beg to stay in Hogwarts over the summer! So, about the Hogsmead trip, I got another letter from my sister, she'll be wearing a blood red shirt so I can recognize her. So, I told her to meet me in that one shop, that sells the candy and stuff?" (

) Taube reached into her brown satchel and pulled out her journal. Suddenly she remembered from a few years back, when she had her twin brother... She tried her hardest not to cry, not to remember Atem. She was strong. She would stand tall, especially when she was practically all alone in the world. She could fight.

"I guess so! And I can't wait either! And it's... sort of a... blood connection." Taube said. "What I mean, is, bloodshed sorta surrounds us, it's kind of like a barrier, shielding us from the worst, but removing the best."
