You need to take this back to H&R, and remind them that they DO in fact give a rapid refund. Show them the paperwork that shows that you signed up for the rapid refund, and suggest to them that NOW would be a good time to give you that. Or, you will take your papers to the local newspaper office, and see what the general public thinks of H&R Block.

thought, perhaps once all the paperwork was filed, you didn't qualify for the loan? Also, if when the paperwork reaches the IRS system, if there is any kind of hold or lien your rapid refund will be cancelled. Call the IRS office and make sure that there isn't a possible hold listed under either of your socials. It doesn't mean that you will have money withheld, just that somewhere in the giant system is a note that there MIGHT be. This is especially true if you have student loans or co-signed for anyone with student loans. Even with a valid deferment, it will sometimes flag in the system.

Otherwise, yes take it up with them. Especially since you are charged extra for rapid refunds. Make sure that that fee is taken off and find out exactly WHY you were denied. It's possible that your filer just didn't do something right. Always call the main office and find out what happened

some places the salvation army I think it is, can help you. Call welfare I know but they may have a idea for you. Some places have help for people and it is some sort of valture or I am not sure but they maybe be able to stear you in the right direction.
