If you have a heat lamp, I would just put it on one side of the brooder. That way if it is too hot they can move to the other side or kind of pace themselves of where they want to be in the brooder compared to the light. Even though are still in that age range of needing the higher temps, maybe you've got a little hot flasher ha unlikely but could still be! I'm not familiar with raising those breeds but sometimes chicks are just loud as well. If everything else seems to be in order, he's probably just getting adjusted.
 
Thank you for your reply. Yes the lamp is at one end with temp at 95 and 80 at the other end of the box. Brahmas are supposedly quite breeds which is one of the reasons why I choose it. Just seems strange that it’s constantly chirping, I also checked for pasty butt and that’s not it.
