...and....you could check into 'chicken diapers'! That way, she wouldn't have to be in her cage all the time. Lots of people have a house chicken. Some of the BYC'ers sell chicken diapers, look them up. There's also some cute videos on youtube of how to put on a chicken diaper...they really are cute...

LOL. Well she looks like a cream colored dove with a small comb so mom wants to move her into the living room...IDK how well that will go over our cats lol. I have never heard of chicken diapers...Sounds kinda cool but not sure about the cats...

I didnt know that many people had chickens in their house, Kinda cool, glad Im not alone!

I would worry about the cats but, aside from that if someone sees her just say she is an exotic bird. Heck people have huge parrots as pets. Wearing a diaper would sure say "pet" to me. Exotic birds can lay eggs and sometimes even hatch them. Please don't trust the cats alone without her even if they seem okay WHILE you are watching.

Dont Worry, I dont trust my inside cats at all!!!! Now my barn cats leave my bantams alone...never had a problem, the roosters put them in their place and the cant dont think it is worth it...I may one day but who knows, the roos are good at their job. My house cats on the other hand think they are great hunters, She is kept in the extra room or in the bathroom so we can keep the door shut for a reason. Thanks for the warning though!!!
