Had 2 pet chickens one died, brought another in for company-not working!

When I added 2 silkies and a standard size pullet to my existing flock I did the see and no touch method for about 2-3 weeks. I also added some stools, a little toddler climber, and some logs so that the new chickens had places to hide from the original group. It really seemed to help, and the pecking was minimal.
