Had a Yogurt Storm, need container ideas...

That is so true! I wondered the same thing! I give my hens yogurt in the evenings after a hot day and they love it. They really do scrape it clean!

BTW...my younger chicks don't really seem to like it.

I have six - year olds and they LUV yogurt. I'll sit on the stoop to the coop and I must tell you that it splatters all over...including all over me. But it so much fun to see their actions.

Since yogurt is so good for them, and messy I totally go for mixing other things into it. If you have a small food processor you can make anything into a yogurt meal!

Some ideas
Carrots
Squash
Raisins
Feed
Seeds

Just what ever I can mince in the FP, then I stir in some yogurt. I love this because I can make a few days worth at a time!!!!!!!

My chickens love thier noon yogurt snack. It is a hoot to watch them come running when I bring out thier bowl. It looks like a snowstorm at first. They take a bite/get it all over thier beaks and then wipe them clean on the chick next to them. Cheap treat with lots of calcium.

Tonight I gave my 4 girls some cold yogurt. It's hot & muggy (relatively speaking) for the Pacific Northwest so they needed it. My fav pullet jumped up on my leg while the other 3 ate the yogurt. A little droplet landed next to her on my shin, so she promptly cleaned it up for me!
